Detailed Explanation of each –

RFID cards – 

They contain an electronic module which consists of an Integrated Circuit, and an antenna. If you position the card near the RFID machine, the Reader transfer energy to the card. This activates the card and it responds according to the command given by the machine.

These cards –

1.       Can Store information

2.       Have facility to generate and store other ID’s as per the requirements of the application

3.       Can electronically etch data – means some data can not be changed if required.

4.       Can store a variety of logics

5.       Have a Higher security level – Anti clone technology: means that the card ID’s are unique and can not be duplicated. This is guaranteed from the chip manufacturer. Unlike other technologies, no known duplicates of these cards are available in the market

6.       Have Easy to meet Global standards. Already confirms 14443 b type standards, which are open standards.

7.       A Unique ID for –

1. Personal / Humans – like Employees, Drivers,
2. Movable Assets like a Cab, Bus, Trucks, Trailers etc
3. Books, Files, specific documents, certificates etc
4. Office furniture etc
5. Assets like Heavy machinery
6. Bigger Installations like electricity poles,
7. To simply put it, any thing which needs a unique identity.
7. Duplicates as a photo ID card, which is an instant identification.

9.       Highly printable surface area

10.   Transfers data at a Higher rate (speed of communication) and Faster transaction – Machine can record up to 40 transactions in one minute.

9.       Printing on cards

a.       Possible with any PVC card printer.

b.       ID cards printing at Diac Spaa–

c.       Scanned photographs along with database in excel is required and preferred for faster delivery.

d.       The photographs and database can be also in hard copy

Typical memory Map for a Card (To aid the customer in deciding the possible applications, only indicative) –

RFID Machine – 

A device to interface with the cards. It has the prime ability for following functions –

1.       Read UID from card

2.       Read all other data form the card if required.

3.       Identify a fake card

4.       Write data in the card, which is than stored in the card.

5.       Enables a time stamp for any transaction

6.       An intelligent data backup, in a structured format. This gives the system a capability to take customized decisions.

7.       Transfers data selectively to PC on request,

1. Like For attendance application , based on date, employee or full month.
2. For any other specialized application, special data matrix can be build as desired.

d.       Connectivity

a.       Default - USB  or RS 232 interface to PC

b.       Options –

                                                                           i.      Ethernet based – Use your own network, with a network adapter provided by Diac Spaa (the network node to be provided by Client)

                                                                         ii.      GSM based – can go to higher distances as long as network connectivity is present.

                                                                        iii.      Wireless connectivity option is available, but the technology is still not rugged at present.

e.       Operation – on line / offline

f.         Capacity Limit –

a.       No of records upto 1.5 Lac records,

b.       Like for attendance application - can be configured for use to more than 1000 employees, and can take care of 40 employees in a minute.

c.       Memory – for 100 employees and 6 months @ 4 time stamps a day. (This can be configured to suit requirements)

g.       Using more than one machine –

a.       The entire database will identify inputs as per the machine, and option for separate or same database per machine will be provided.

b.       HUBs etc are not included in the offer

Extra Antenna  -

Doubles up as a reader in case the distance between two machine installations is upto 5 mtrs. 7 readers can be used within a distance of 5 meters.

Connectivity to Server –

Existing LAN network to be used for the same.

Data base –

Various data backups as required can be given. At present data backups given in SQL, Excel and Access.

System Connection software –

a.       Pre configured to give you friendly data in various formats

b.       Excel Data Update – Give you a structured dump of your data of last 6 months, at any time desired. This is like a fast recovery backup of all your data, completely safe, immune from any frauds etc. Just a click, and your all data, of 6 months are recovered to Excel.

c.       Today’s Data – Just enter the date, and you get data to Excess for the particular date. This is the main Data Updating module.

d.       Employee data check – Query for an employee with month gives you all the monthly time punch for the employee.

e.       Interfaces to your friendly formats – Choose as Option and you will be provided data in formats as required by you.

Reports software –

A number of third party software are available, which can be easily interfaced with this device. Software at Client’s end also can be interfaced with this device.

In any case, software which gives basic reports is available from us.

Card Printer –

In case number of cards is very high, a card printer is recommended. It may cost anywhere between 75,000/- to 90,000/- and is available from 2 – 3 different companies. It is recommended for companies where the requirement is for more than 500 cards.
